North Melbourne's VFL team will open its season at Arden St against Williamstown on Sunday, March 27. 

The home ground opener was confirmed as the first eight VFL games were released on Friday.

Following their clash with the Seagulls, the Kangaroos will head to Queensland to take on the Lions in Round 2.

A bye follows in Round 3, before a run of fixtures in Victoria begins.

Five of the teams North will face in its first seven games are AFL-affiliated.
