It may only be early December, but North Melbourne is well on its way to breaking its membership record for a fourth consecutive season.

With the Kangaroo army already sitting at around 25,000 strong, the month of November proved to be one of the most exciting from a membership perspective in the history of the football club.

Remarkably, the club’s membership tally is currently sitting over 4,000 members ahead of the same time last year.

North CEO Carl Dilena thanked members for their continued support and encouraged those who were yet to renew or join to sign up for 2016.

“Despite making such an overwhelming start, we aren’t resting on our laurels,” Mr Dilena said.

“2016 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory; a blockbuster schedule including five Friday night games paired with the strong position of our playing group – we simply can’t wait for it all to kick-off early next year.”

The club’s presence in Tasmania also continues to go from strength to strength, with the figure in the Apple Isle around 1,000 ahead of the same time last year.

"Our Tasmanian members are an integral part of the North Melbourne family and with Friday night footy coming their way in 2016, I have no doubt there’s some real excitement being generated in the city of Hobart.” Dilena added.
