Ben Brown has cleared the final hurdle and has been named to play against West Coast on Sunday.
The key forward was in a race against time to prove his fitness after a knee injury in the off season.
Brown played a practice match for Werribee last weekend and has since completed all training, including Friday’s main session, without any issues.
The 24-year-old will line-up alongside Jarrad Waite in the forward line with Brayden Preuss and Todd Goldstein also set to spend time in front of goals.
Ryan Clarke has missed a Round 1 berth and has been named on the emergency list with Sam Durdin and Ed Vickers-Willis.
