North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos’ midfield star Jenna Bruton has had her outstanding performance against the Western Bulldogs recognised, receiving maximum votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year voting.
Bruton has been in scinitillating form so far this season, and continued this against her old side, collecting 22 disposals and six tackles in the 31-point victory.
The number 35’s perfect score lifts her to the top of the Roos’ standings, and five votes behind overall leader Ellie Blackburn.
Four goal hero Courteney Munn received six votes, with teammates Jamie Stanton, Kate Gillespie-Jones and Emma Kearney all polling.
