North Melbourne will play in a cauldron of royal blue and white at Blundstone Arena, and Brad Scott believes it could well be the difference.

The final tickets for the match raced out the door on Friday, with the fixture officially announced a sell-out.

“It’s really important we build this into a fortress. This is our home away from home,” Scott told the media in Hobart.

“Every time we go to Sydney we get a pretty hard time, so we’ve got to make sure the North Melbourne fans return the favour and we make it a really hostile environment for the Swans.

“They (the Swans) want to come down and train down here and familiarise themselves with the ground, but one thing they can’t get used to is the hostile North Melbourne crowd that’s going to be here tomorrow.”

North will play its second Hobart home game in Round 6 against the Power and Scott urged the local fans to plan ahead if they want to be there.

“We are really committed to this part of the world. We’ve had great support here last year and we are hoping to build on what we did here last year, and hopefully play more games here in the future,” Scott added.

“We hope to play more games here, but we’ve got to sell the venue out every time before we get more games.”

The club will also be holding a special free clinic for local youngsters with all players in attendance on Sunday at Blundstone Arena.
