North Melbourne’s newest debutant, Charlie Comben, has broken his collarbone in an incident at training.
North GM football, Brady Rawlings, said it was unfortunate timing for Comben.
“It’s unlucky for Charlie who debuted last week and was looking to string a run of games together,” Rawlings said.
“Charlie has done a power of work on his body and strength, and to suffer an injury from a really innocuous, unlucky accident, is obviously really disappointing for him.
“Since arriving at the club he’s overcome multiple setbacks, but shown great dedication to get his body right.
“He will now take the off-season to recover, with the view he will be set to commence pre-season training with the rest of the group.”
