Jas Garner recorded her third consecutive best on ground performance on the weekend, at least according to the coaches, winning ten coaches votes in Sunday’s victory over Collingwood.
Garner dominated proceedings, registering 26 disposals and 3 goals in a brilliant display of midfield craft against her former club.
Three ten-vote games in a row have seen her surge up to 12th on the overall leaderboard.
Darren Crocker and Steve Symonds couldn’t split three Kangaroos behind Garner, with Ash Riddell, Emma King and Emma Kearney all finishing with six votes apiece.
Riddell finished with a game-high 30 disposals and 8 clearances as she continues her career-best season. She is now tied in first on the overall leaderboard with Fremantle’s Hayley Miller on 49 votes.
Ruck/forward King was a dominant presence in all areas of the ground, finishing with 20 disposals and 5 marks, plus 12 hitouts.
Kearney continues her exceptional season running off the half-back flank, gathering 24 touches for the contest.
Collingwood’s Ruby Schleicher was awarded the final two votes to be allocated for the game.
