A lifelong North Melbourne supporter, Tristan Xerri was recruited as a project player late in the 2017 AFL Draft.

At 201cm, Xerri’s traditional ruck craft and tapwork are the most exceptional parts of his game, while is ability to impact the contest and follow-up his own hitouts has developed well in his years at Arden Street.

After two years of strong development in the VFL, ‘X’ made his long-awaited AFL debut in 2020 and subsequently became the club's primary big man in 2023.

North Melbourne debut: Round 4, 2020

2023: It was a rough start for North Melbourne's first-choice ruck, with the 24-year-old succumbing to an ankle syndesmosis injury during the first quarter of the Kangaroos' opening fixture.

Xerri dominated on his return via the VFL later in the year and returned to the AFL side in Round 17, where he tallied 45 hitouts and 19 disposals against Geelong.

He finished the season off strongly but will be eager for a clean run in 2024 following two consecutive injury-interrupted campaigns.
