One of the strongest talents in AFLW, Jas Garner has lit up the competition since the first game in history, where she kicked the first ever goal in AFLW while playing for Collingwood in 2017.

An exceptional talent in both the midfield and forward lines, Garner’s ability to pull the ball out of the contest and hit the scoreboard or a forward teammate is nearly unrivalled, and while she’s the type of player who doesn’t need much of the ball to win the game for her side, she often gets plenty of it.

With all of her accolades and on-field skill, Garner has a genuine claim to go down as one of the greatest ever players in this first generation of AFLW stars, not just at the Kangaroos, but across the competition.

North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos debut: Round 1, 2019

2023: It was another elite season from Garner, who was amazingly able to improve on her dominant 2022 Season 7 campaign.

The superstar was incredibly consistent across her 13 games, averaging 28.6 disposals per match (ranked third in the AFLW) while having her best season to date in front of goals, kicking 13.

She capped off another sensational year with a sixth straight All-Australian selection, second AFLPA MVP Award, third AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award, and fourth Club Champion Award.
